MEETINGS: Training Workshop for English Speaking Countries
VENUE: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

For coherency and efficiency, two training workshops was organized, one for African English speaking countries and one for the African French speaking countries.

The training workshop for African English speaking countries, held in Ethiopia, ECA Headquarters, was attended by 25 participants representing the following 13 ECA’s member States: Egypt, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the International Center for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, Massachusetts, USA, provided resource persons to the workshop.
